(most people agree that these are the weapons that deals most damage per shots) the Alien Blaster is stronger than the Firelance (Firelance without perks) but the Firelance is stronger with perks such as Xenotech Expert and Pyromaniac due to Firelance having a incendiary effect on targets like the Chinese pistol. Why? They deal high damage and has the highest critical chance of any weapon. The downside is that it degrades rather quickly and spare weapons are hard to come by since it's a gatling laser. It's the one weapon in the game that deals most damage next to the firelance or Alien blaster. Why? It deals high damage, ammo is common and it's good against enemies with armor. Other reasons why this is number one: It looks good, it has a nice 'ring' sound in VATS and it is based on Abraham Lincolns actual Henry.
